Make your special day completely bespoke by handcrafting each other's wedding rings!
In booking this event, you will have exclusive use of the workshop, expert tuition from me, and two completely unique wedding rings.
How do we start?
Your workshop experience starts with an initial no-obligation consultation to discuss options, size your fingers and try on different widths and styles. I will guide you on the best metal to use and help you decide what might be the best options for you both - I know it can be bewildering!
We then book a whole day for you to have exclusive use of the workshop and I will guide you through each step along the way from designing, shaping, hammering, soldering, and finishing.
What will we do?
We start off in the morning making practice rings in silver so you totally feel at ease with the process.
You can go for lunch at one of the lovely cafes and restaurants on Wellfield Road or pick up a bite to eat and come straight back to it. In the afternoon we will go on to make your final rings in the material of your choice.
As part of the price of the workshop, both of you will receive friendly expert guidance, exclusive use of the workshop, practice metal, and ring boxes to keep them safe until your special day.
At the end of the workshop, I can send your lovingly made rings to be hallmarked or add any finishing touches such as engraving so that your handmade bespoke rings are perfect.
The materials for your final ring and any additional services such as engraving are at an additional cost.
To give you an idea on metal price, a classic 9ct yellow gold wedding band (2.3mm wide for her & 3mm for him) costs around £160 for both rings, for 18ct it's around £420. White gold is just slightly more expensive.
Email me to arrange a free no-obligation consultation and I can give you an exact cost for the rings you want before booking.
As I'm only working part time at the moment I'm only taking bookings for weekdays unfortunately.
