Over three hours, you’ll turn a strip of sterling silver into a finished ring, made to fit your finger and ready to wear home.
You’ll learn how to measure the silver to fit your finger, cut and prepare the metal, solder it together, shape it into a ring and give it a final polish.
I’ll demonstrate each stage step-by-step before you have a go yourself, and I’ll be on hand throughout to help whenever you need it. Most people who come have never made jewellery before, so you really don’t need any previous experience.
There’s plenty of room to make your ring your own too. You can keep it simple and smooth, add texture with different hammers, and choose the finish you like.
It’s incredibly satisfying starting with a simple piece of silver and doing every stage yourself – including using the torch! You’ll leave with a finished ring you can wear straight away, and the slightly lovely feeling of “I actually made that.”

Ring Choises

Choose D-profile silver wire in 2.3mm, 3mm, 4mm or 5mm widths, or flat silver wire in 3mm, 4mm, 5mm or 6mm widths. You can choose a smooth or textured finish.
Other options may be available by prior arrangement and may carry an additional material cost.

Age Guidance

Suitable for ages 11+ (with a participating adult) and ages 16+ independently.

Cancellation, Refunds & Changing Dates

Plans change, so if you give at least 14 days’ notice, you can move your booking to another available date free of charge or request a refund.
With less than 14 days’ notice, bookings are non-refundable and can’t be transferred to another date, but you’re very welcome to send someone else in your place.
