Jewellery Making Evening Classes | Cardiff Flexible mixed-level jewellery making classes

Sale price £230.00

Keep learning, try new techniques and make the jewellery you want to make

You don't have to follow a set syllabus to start learning jewellery making. This course is open to complete beginners who'd rather learn through projects they choose themselves, as well as for those who already know the basics and want to decide where to take their skills next. You might have an idea for something you'd love to make but no idea where to start, a technique you'd like to improve, or simply want the time and space to keep making regularly.

This flexible jewellery-making course in Cardiff gives you the freedom to work on your own projects, with help to turn your ideas into something achievable. We'll talk through what you'd like to make, work out the steps involved to achieve it, and identify the techniques you'll learn along the way.

If you'd prefer a little more structure, I can suggest projects and techniques to suit your experience. Depending on what you'd like to explore, that might mean turning your hand to wax carving, learning different stone-setting techniques, finally getting your soldering to behave itself, or improving the finishing skills that make such a difference to a piece of jewellery.

People join the course for all sorts of reasons; some are complete beginners who prefer the freedom to choose their own projects, some continue after the Beginner Jewellery Making Course, some have taken several shorter workshops, and others return to jewellery making after learning elsewhere. Some come for a single block, while others keep coming back over months or even years as their skills and ideas develop.

The classes are relaxed and supportive, with everyone working on their own project at their own pace with professional guidance at hand to help you hone your skills and master your pieces. For many people, it becomes protected time in the week to step away from everything else, use their hands, and make something simply because they enjoy it.
